Legendary disco diva singer Carol Jiani, most known for her worldwide hit 'Hit 'n Run Lover' (on Mantra Records) teams up with Plussoda Music to record 'I'm A Diva Baby', a track written by Carol Jiani together with long time friend Sanny X, who also is in charge for the arrangement and production duties.

A massive club banger with hard hitting 909 drums, typical old skool house rimshot patterns, very catchy bassline with classic house organ, deep moody chords and lots of dub delays all over and Carol Jiani's explosive vocals. It all breaks down to a funky breakdown in the middle to then gradually build up again and back in.

This is massive, a must have for your set! In 1980, Carol Jiani recorded two Sandy Wilbur-written pieces with La Greca, 'Hit 'N Run Lover' and 'All The People of the World'. 'Hit 'N Run Lover' was remixed by San Francisco-based Moby Dick Records for their Gold Standard imprint and would become Jiani's signature song, peaking at number 4 on the US Billboard Club Play Singles chart in 1981.
